Confirmation for room reservations, per your request, all rooms are subject to change and will be listed daily on the "Daily Events Calendar" posted throughout the Nebraska Union.

A room has been reserved for Lincoln Fantasy & Science Fiction Club from 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM on the following dates:

November 17st Meeting

• Book of the month: We Can Remember It For You Wholesale
• Wesley's Teen Mage this Sunday. Ben has a Seeking coming.
• Movie day in the Union on the 20th.
• Thanks to Thanksgiving break, next Wednesday's meeting will be at Nha Trang at 1309 L Street. Sunday gaming is not affected over the next two weeks.
  

Book of the Month

Since we did not vote on a book during our last meeting, I will decree one:

Our book is "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale", by Philip K Dick.  We'll probably discuss it sometime after Thanksgiving.

October 13st

• Writer's Group, November 3rd, 6pm. Continuing Mythos stories if you have them.
  
• Book of the month is At the Mountains of Madness. Will discuss it on October 20th.
  
• Sunday gaming is Wesley's Teen Mage. SECRETS WILL BE REVEALED. If Russell can convince Courtyards, we'll be playing there. Otherwise, Neihardt.
  
• Halloween party planned! Get in touch with the core group.
  

Game Times!

Elliot Campbell would like everyone to know that he will be running various games during the week:


Magic on Tuesdays @ 6:00pm

-Magic is mostly multiplayer with drafting, teams play, hidden teams (Bang!), Plane Chase, and/or Arch enemy.

Boardgames Fridays @ 6:00pm

-Includes sci-fi/fantasy boardgames (like Arkham Horror, Race for the Galaxy, and Galaxy Trucker) and popular games (like Agricola, Puerto Rico, Dominion, Power Grid, and Caylus)
 
All games are located in the food court in the Student Union.

September 1st Meeting

• Writer's Group - October 6th. Mythos stories. The definition of 'Mythos' was discussed.
  
• We discussed the book of the summer, Schrödinger's Cat. Next week we will vote on a new book.
• For Sunday gaming, we do not have a room in the Union because of Labor Day weekend. Russell will be getting a room in Courtyards. We will be playing High School Mage: The Ascension.
• We held an election. Meet new President Jessica Fostvedt and old Treasurer Ian Rochford.
• Movie day on September 18th!
  

August 25st Meeting

• Sunday gaming will be the finale of Horror on the Orient Express! Time permitting, we will also make characters for High School Mage. High School Mage is projected to begin September 5th, the week after.
• Writer's group is September 1st. Write a Mythos story.
• Book of the summer: The Schrödinger's Cat Trilogy by Robert Anton Wilson. Backup is I, Robot. We will discuss September 1st.
• A movie day is planned for September 18th.
  

August 18st Meeting

• Sunday gaming (BACK IN THE UNION!): Horror on the Orient Express. The finale will be on the 29th. High School Mage is projected to begin September 5th.
  
• August 25th meeting will be back in the Union.

• Sunday gaming this week: The final chapter of Horror on the Orient Express begins!
• Wednesday meetings are in Burnett 202 until August 18th.
• Starting August 25th, meetings are back in the Union. Elections will take place on the 25th as well.

May 5st Meeting

• No Sunday gaming this week.
• Sunday after next is Demicon, so probably no gaming again. Burnett 202 is available if someone wants to run something.
  
• Next week's Wednesday general meeting is Oso Burrito. After that, it's Burnett 202 for the remainder of the summer.
  
• Writer's group will continue during the summer. 1st Wednesday in June is next.

April 21st Meeting

• Sunday gaming is Horror on the Orient Express.  We're alllllmost done!
• Jessica and I will go make room reservations for the summer and for next semester on Friday.
• Book exchange for May 5th!

• $15 in donations was collected to pay for advertising at ConStellation.

• Next movie day is April 3rd.  (Pushed back one week because this coming Saturday is blocked up by admissions events.)

* Sunday gaming is Josh's Horror on the Oriental Express, unless Heath shows up to run post-apocalyptic GURPS.  (UPDATE: Josh will not be able to run.  Therefore we are restricted to Heath's post-apocalyptic GURPS or, if he is unavailable, board games of some kind.)
* Voting for a new book next week, the 24th.
* Movie Day on the 27th.
* Next Writer's Group is March 3rd, before meeting.
* We will discuss Conjure Wife on March 3rd.

February 10th Meeting

* Sunday is in flux.  Possibly Heath's post-apocalyptic GURPS.  Possibly Josh's Horror on the Orient Express.  We're looking for someone to write the summary letter for the last Horror session.
* We're voting for a new book on February 24th.
